We had a 5 night stay in house 29 in July, and enjoyed our stay very much indeed, everything we needed was there, good location, and Eastport was close by. So, thank you very much for a most enjoyable stay, we will be back, and also tell our friends and relations about our great stay. Again, thank you so much

We had a family reunion here for 3 nights and it was pretty great. I was very concerned after reading the reviews but found none of them to be warranted. Our unit could have been cleaner but other than that it was fine. Yesbthe water pressure is hit or miss and can quickly go from hot to cold but this wasn't enough to ruin my vacation. Pool was clean and nicely heated. Fire pit and playground were awesome! I would definitely go back!

We booked cabin number 5 for Dec 30th and 31st for our anniversary. We got the impression that there would be other people staying for a New Years celebration and we were lucky to get a cabin for those nights, but when we got there we were the only vehicle in the parking lot. One other couple showed up between 7 and 8 pm but left and went to a house party and returned after 1 am. The walkway wasn’t shoveled and the deck wasn’t cleaned off. There wasn’t a shovel provided either. I had to sweep it with a broom. They were suppose to check to make sure that the heat was turned up and all was ok with the cabin. There was several lights not working inside the cabin and only one 8 inch cast iron frying pan provided for a kitchenette cabin. Only 2 little pillows on the bed and they smelled like men’s cologne. The faucets in kitchen was loose. The fridge wasn’t turned up either, which if they would have check on the place pior to us getting there would have been done. One burner on the stove only worked occasionally. The bathroom fan was discussingly dirty and was louder then a 747 airplane. Also the table and chairs were falling apart. The person who booked us made it sound like we would have lots of company to celebrate our anniversary and New Years which turned out to be a lie. We were told the keys would be place in the BBQ, but they were always there because there wasn’t any tracks on the boardwalk to the cabin or BBQ. From this experience I would suggest that no one book this place for any special occasion. I phone the owner Joan and they didn’t care about the experience that we had. They just want your money which for two nights was over 350.00 dollars for the two nights. This was the off season price. Wouldn’t want to pay for the prime season rate. We have been to every community in NL over the past 6 years with our camper and staying in B & B’s and this was our worst experience. I also served in the Canadian Armed Forces and travelled to many different countries plus lived in almost every province and a military tent was better.

Just a note of gratitude to say how much we enjoyed spending our time at Pinetree Lodge this fall. Thank-you for the fall rate as well. It is really appreciated. Hope all is going well with you.
